It has been described as the kindle fire for kids, Features include, touch screen, front and rear cameras, connection via HDMI and USB. IT supports flash, has an intergrated microphone and connects to the internet via Wifi.What can you do with the Kurio tablet?

The tablet is preloaded with 50 different apps and there are over 7,000 additional apps that can be downloaded on the tablet. The tablet has a built in front camera as well as a speaker and microphone.

This is a more advanced tablet and has a smaller and sleeker design than other kid’s tablets. There are parental controls and plenty of kid-friendly only apps.

This tablet is very similar to a regular Android tablet in that it allows for web browsing as well as has plenty of downloadable apps for music, videos, games, eBooks, and shows. It is much smaller though and great for smaller hands and does offer the parental controls and special features for kids though.

It comes with a soft, removable rubber bumper to help protect the tablet.

Archos Arnova Child Pad

The Archos Arnova pad for kids is one of the cheapest kids tablets on the market right now, it’s also an Android tablet and although it’s not as well known as others such as the MEEP tablet, it has a durable screen which is good for younger kids although it can be a little unresponsive because of this.

It comes with preinstalled apps, has parental controls and offers similar features to the other Android tablets featured here, including music, games and more. The reviews on Amazon are mixed so if you are considering this tablet as a cheaper option, you should take a look.Overall it appears to be a fairly decent tablet for the price, it’s not top of the range but for young kids it may be good enough.
