Why is my credit card green on YNAB?
Is YNAB credit card positive or negative
During the time that your credit card carries a positive balance, YNAB treats any overspending as if it is cash ↗️ (instead of credit ↗️). Once the card balance dips into the negative again, YNAB will resume moving money for budgeted purchases to the Credit Card Payment category.
Why is my YNAB credit card not matching
This is due to differences between the date the transaction occurred and the date it was cleared by your bank. Compare the cleared balance with your bank balance on that date. Clear the next day's transactions and check the bank balance at the end of that day to make sure it matches.
What is the color coding in YNAB
YNAB uses color coding in the budget to indicate a category's status. Green means it has been funded for the current period. Yellow means there's still work to do. And red means there's a serious problem that you must resolve.

Why is my YNAB credit card red
Seeing red in your Credit Card Payment category means you made a payment for more than you had Available in your Payment column. So, by sending more to the credit card company than you had set aside in your Credit Card Payment category, this created overspending.
Why is my credit card balance positive
A positive balance on your credit card, also called a credit balance, is an overpayment or refund on your card. It's an amount that belongs to you, so it's the opposite of an amount you owe. Your next purchases will simply be deducted from the positive balance until your balance drops to $0.
What happens if my credit card balance is positive
You have two choices for making the overpayment go away: Ask for a refund. You might request a direct deposit to your bank account or a check. Continue to use the credit card until the surplus in your credit card account has been used up.
Why is my available credit not matching my balance
If your current balance, credit limit, and available credit don't match up, it's probably because you've got either a pending charge or pending payment.
